Last Words

Then addressing the monks for the last time; the Buddha uttered these words:
“And non, monks, I remind you: all conditioned things are destined to dissolution, mindfully do what is good for yourselves and others”
These were the Buddha’s last words. He then passed away under a pair of Sala tree’s in the Sala Grove of the Mallas. This was on the full-moon day of the sixth Lunar month when he was in his eightieth year.
